Capacity, performance and scale limits depend on data type, method and release. No deduplication/compression ratio, linear speed increase or automatic clustering is guaranteed. Contact destek@menabyte.com.tr for technical sizing.
Visual note: no suitable real capacity/scale screenshot without customer capacity or internal topology is available. An unrelated screen was not used as capacity evidence. This work changed no storage, nodes, workers, policies or data.

011. Prepare the workload inventory
Record source volume, protected disk/file scope, platform and method. Separate provisioned disk size from bytes actually read or stored. Do not publish customer inventories in public reports.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
022. Measure changes and growth
Measure change volume and periodic growth using representative Full and incremental jobs. Account for peak days and new workloads. Do not present a single day as a certain annual forecast.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
033. Account for retention chains
Account for retained Full bases, required incrementals, archives and separate copies. Do not assume immediate space reclamation at expiry when data is protected or referenced. Keep logical and physical usage layers distinct.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
044. Include reserves and temporary requirements
Assess active-job reservations, safety headroom and method-specific temporary/snapshot requirements. Repository reserve is not usable backup space. Verify installed-backend accounting with support; do not treat example reserve values as defaults.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
055. Validate efficiency assumptions
Use deduplication and compression results measured on the same data and layer. Encrypted or already compressed data can change outcomes. Use conservative scenarios where measurements are absent; do not promise fixed savings.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
066. Test recovery capacity
Plan isolated restore targets, working space, network and application dependencies separately from backup storage. Test recovery acceptance of the oldest required point too. Sufficient repository space alone does not guarantee recovery time.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
077. Refresh estimates periodically
Record assumptions, measurement intervals, capacity-alert ownership and expansion decision times. Refresh the plan after data, method or retention changes. Send a requirements summary without secrets to destek@menabyte.com.tr for technical sizing.
Expected resultAssumptions, measurements and acceptance results are recorded.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Can I size storage using a fixed deduplication ratio?
Do not use an unmeasured fixed ratio. Plan using results validated for the data, method and physical usage layer, plus safe reserves.
