BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Check before you begin
HA, warm standby, load balancing and disaster recovery are different scopes. The inspected documents include warm-standby evidence; real automatic failover acceptance with a shared management address and highly available database remains a separate open item. Contact destek@menabyte.com.tr for technical design.
Visual note: no suitable real HA/load-balancing screenshot without sensitive topology is available. A design diagram was not used as evidence of an operational system. This work changed no services, networks, databases or routing and ran no failover test.

011. Define the load to balance
Web/API access, backup-data transfers and queued-job distribution are different loads. Measure the bottleneck layer. Do not assume balancing one layer automatically distributes the others.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
022. Verify architecture and release support
Verify the balancer role, supported management model and dependencies with support. Routing traffic to two management nodes does not establish active-active job coordination. A reference design is not production acceptance of the installed system.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
033. Define health-check coverage
Do not equate connectivity with service readiness. Define health acceptance covering application and data-path dependencies using release-specific technical documentation. Check addresses, internal ports and configuration examples are not published here.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
044. Assess connection and active-job behavior
Plan long transfers, timeouts and new/existing connection behavior during maintenance with support. Do not assume every operation moves seamlessly to another node. Never disable trusted-connection or certificate checks for performance.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
055. Separate job limits from traffic balancing
Job concurrency and transfer workers affect backend load; they are not web-traffic balancing. Measure storage, network and CPU limits together. Do not assume more connections provide linear speed gains.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
066. Perform controlled failure and load testing
Include representative load, unhealthy nodes, maintenance and disconnects in an isolated test plan. Measure error rates, latency, duplicate operations and backup/restore acceptance. Do not initiate customer-impacting load tests or routing changes from this guide.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
077. Complete rollback and monitoring planning
Document routing rollback conditions, alert ownership and tested limits. Retest after architecture or release changes. Send a redacted requirements summary to destek@menabyte.com.tr for detailed technical planning.
Expected resultScope, open issues and acceptance results are documented.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Does load balancing alone provide HA?
No. Health detection, application/data dependencies, job coordination and recovery acceptance need separate verification.
